Marika Pappagianis BS, RVT, VTS (Large Animal Internal Medicine)
Marika Pappagianis, BS, RVT, VTS (Large Animal Internal Medicine) has been a Veterinary Technician at the University of California, Davis, William R. Pritchard Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital since 1986. She received her BS in Animal Science from UC Davis in 1984 with a focus on equine reproduction and breeding management. In 1986 she began working as a veterinary technician in the UCD Large Animal Intensive Care Unit. She began supervising the ICU in 1994 and became the Large Animal Clinic Patient Care Manager in 2005. Marika holds her RVT license from California and in 2008 earned the title of Veterinary Technician Specialist in Large Animal Internal Medicine. She is a Worker Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, has a professional interest in equine and neonatal critical care, injury and illness prevention, and safety of patients and personnel.
