Once identified and AIMVT notified, the Proctor must complete and sign the affidavit of nondisclosure agreement
The Proctor is responsible for the following tasks:
- Assisting with set up of room prior to examination.
- Assisting with identification check of test candidates if unknown to the proctor.
- Checking for proper use of note paper. No references, cell phones, calculators, or other blue-toothed enabled devices are allowed.
- Monitoring of testing room and observation of candidate behavior.
- Maintaining test security.
Room selection
- The remote examinees need to secure a quiet setting, no interruptions, no other people (besides their proctor). This means no one walking/passing behind you in the room.
- Make sure that everyone who will be in the house/office/wherever understands. Lock the door if you have too. This includes our 4-legged family. My cat Philbert is the one who meows at all shut doors. Day board? Day care? Out with 2 legged for the half day? Do whatever you need to ensure your peaceful and quiet environment.
- Make sure you are front lighted so your face is easily seen. Do not obscure your face with hats, scarves, or hair.
- Foam ear plugs are OK but NO ear buds or noise cancelling ear devices, as we are unable to tell if they have blue tooth capability.
